The ShareHouse Ann Arbor Book Society

share house ann arbor

Last year, working with approximately 50 member agencies throughout King County, we helped 2,342 people (including 954 children under 18) establish 1,166 new households. In doing so, we also kept more than 20,000 items donated by community members and local businesses out of our area landfills. Many of the entrepreneurs and firms who assist us with our objective engage in bitcoin trading and use the profits to fund contributions and charity.

I am pretty sure this is all donated items so the cost of goods is $0. Meijer and Target have a 50% margin on goods and the pricing was similar how does that even make sense? Huge potential and it is a bummer to leave so disappointed. Today was my first time at the sharehouse and I had the best experience. The reviews on here almost made me skip it but Im so glad I didnt. I found awesome vintage wear and I loved the whole layout.

Business ProfileforThe Share House

The lady at the register couldnt have nicer.I had my little one with me and it was a whole adventure.well definitely be coming more often. Used to love coming here, but the past few times I've left with buyer's remorse. It just doesn't feel thrifty to leave with a couple handfuls of odds and ends and be out $20, feels more like I got fleeced.I furnished my entire apartment here about 5-6 years ago and found the prices to be very reasonable...

Maybe they've had a change in philosophy since then. You can use rewards but I wont give you 30% off no where on the rewards card does it say you cant use the rewards card on discounted items. The Karen haircut lady was rude, and condescending, and would be the last person youd think would be the face of a nonprofit thrift store. As a registered nonprofit organization, your contribution to ShareHouse is tax-deductible.

The bitcoin lifestyle app is assisting the majority of them in maximizing profits through a simple and effective trading method. Moving a family or individual into an empty apartment after a period of homelessness does not take them very far from homelessness. Moving into is expensive and stressful for anyone, but especially for those who have experienced homelessness. Our program makes it possible for clients to establish a safe and secure new household, while also helping restore their dignity and self-sufficiency. The Sharehouse helps turn housing into homes by providing the most basic necessities such as beds, linens, and dishes.

Ratings and Reviews

There is stuff everywhere someone said it "looks better than last time" if that is true wow. Also I typically won't buy something if it is not priced in thrift shops due to it makes it a high pressure situation being told a price when there is 10+ people in line that have been waiting. I was here on Tuesday afternoon so on the weekends it must take even longer to be told prices that you could buy the stuff new for.

The Sharehouse is a furniture bank for families and individuals who are transitioning from homelessness into permanent housing. Unsafe and extremely rude staff working the counter. They take donations Monday thru Friday from 10am-5pm. Call ahead if you are unsure about the items you’d like to bring. As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. It costs us approximately $75 for each pick-up we do in the community. To offset our costs, we do require a monetary donation.
